Following the Sangam tradition

Three stops, one convoy

Every Sangam is built the same way — a wild leg, a slower cultural leg, and a coastal send-off into the New Year. For 2026 the convoy heads west, from tiger territory in Tadoba, up into the cool hills around Mahabaleshwar, and down to the Konkan shoreline for the traditional closing circle.

Overlanding rigs parked along the Konkan coastline for a New Year gathering

Down the coast for the traditional Sangam send-off — beach camp, bonfire, and the annual general meeting before the convoy heads home.

  • New Year's Eve celebration
  • Beachside bonfire & live music
  • Coastal Malvani cuisine
  • Morning meditation by the waves
  • Association annual general meeting
  • Closing circle & reflections
  • Nearby: Ganpatipule Temple

We picked the Sangam location every year the same way — one wild leg, one slow leg, one coast. Maharashtra gives us all three without a single long transfer day.
